Film screenings at Saenger: :9:00 PM | The Secret Keeper, Tin Tone, David Bailey: Four Beats to the Bar and No Cheating | Saenger Theatre
Sun & Sand shows movies at theaters throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Venues include the Saenger Theatre in Biloxi and The Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs.
Each year, Sun & Sand holds film competitions in 6 categories, including: Narrative Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short, Animated Short, and Music Video. From major motion pictures and independent shorts, to movies with Mississippi roots, a variety of films will be screened.
This year there will be panel discussions Friday and Saturday starting at 9:30 AM. We will be discussing film production in Mississippi, the Mississippi Motion Picture Incentive Program, plus locations and services available in Mississippi. There will also be a Producers Panel Discussion on film funding, an Entertainment Law Panel Discussion, and an Actor Panel Discussion.
Individual movie tickets will be available at the door, $10 for adults, $5 for students.

Based on the 1930 classic by Oxford, Miss. native William Faulkner, it is the story of the death of Addie Bundren and her family's quest to honor her wish to be buried in the nearby town of Jefferson. Filmed in Canton, Miss. Cast includes James Franco, Tim Blake Nelson, and Jim Parrack.
A recounting of Jack Kerouac's (here known by the name of his fictional alter-ego Jack Duluoz) three sojourns to the cabin in Big Sur, owned by poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Produced by Mississippi native Orian Williams. Cast includes Jean-Marc Barr, Kate Bosworth, and Josh Lucas.
Roxy, an aspiring college journalist, finds herself searching for answers when she investigates end time prophecies for a term paper. Her diary is discovered years later, in the rubble of a post apocalypse society filled with decay and violence. Filmed in Flora, Miss. and Grand Rapids, Mich. Cast includes Eric Roberts, Ben Davies, and Jason Burkey.
More action adventure than traditional documentary, Lion Ark follows the world's most ambitious and daring animal rescue, with a narrative meticulously compiled from film, interviews, conversations and the reactions of participants as events actually unfold. Cast includes Bob Barker, Jorja Fox, and David Kopp.
G. Smith Motorsports will have high-end cars and custom motorcycles on display near Mary Mahoney's Seafood Restaurant. Two big 18-wheelers will be loaded with motorcycles and cars built for stars such as Sylvester Stallone, Nicolas Cage, and Jason Statham.
